Specimen Requirements

Have patient report to North Ottawa Community Hospital Laboratory. If that is not possible, collect the following:

Specimen should arrive at the laboratory within 30 minutes of draw.

Specimen Type: Serum

Container/Tube: Serum gel

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Collection Instructions: Tube must be completely filled and remain unopened until test is performed.
