Important Note

No fasting is required for the 1 hour glucose tolerance test.  If a 3 hour tolerance test is indicated, patient should be fasting.

Have patient report to North Ottawa Community Hospital Laboratory.

Reference Values

An interpretive report will be provided.

 

A one hour post glucola draw is performed.  If indicated, a 3 hour tolerance test will be suggested.  This includes a fasting, 1-, 2-, and 3 hour draws.
